The Green Institute had a significant presence [1]at the US Social Forum, being a co-sponsor of the Democracy Tent [2]as well as sponsoring three panels: Colonialism in the United States [3], Corporate Control of Hip Hop [4], and the [5]N-Word Forum [6]. Head-Roc, who was one of the presenters of the two latter events, also performed [7] on the Pine St. state with his partner, Peace Justice Universal.

The Social Forum started off Wednesday afternoon (June
27) with a march from the Georgia State Capitol to the Civic Center,
the core of the social forum events. The march attracted over a
thousand participants, a good sign of things to come. The Social Forum
eventuall attracted well over 10,000 participants.
